Ponza Film Festival

The second edition of the “Ponza Film Festival” was held on September 13, 14, and 15, 2024, in the renovated spaces of the “Carlo Pisacane” multipurpose hall, transformed into a welcoming cinema, with a strong attendance.

Attending and receiving awards were Gaetano Cucciardi, director of “Il Berretto di Squille” and the film’s stars Marina Cioppa and Christian Brandi; Aurora Garofalo, author and performer of the video “Richiamo”; Emeline Mann Sanchez, author of “No Regrets – The Sequel”; Béatrice Mohr, director of the documentary “Symphonic Youth”; Tito Gilberto, author of the documentary “L’Era Antifascista”; Roberta Argenta, author of “Dies Natalis Sol Invictus”; Giacomo Sardonini, director of the short film “Body PainT”; and Andrea Papini and Denise Tantucci, the director and actress of the out-of-competition film “I Nostri Ieri,” which was particularly successful. Casting director Marita d’Elia and producer Sergio Castellani also attended and received the special lifetime achievement award.

The event concluded with the award ceremony and a well-received refreshment, provided by, among others, Cantina Vinicola Casale del Giglio and the rotisserie “La Bottega di Luli.” The event took place in the charming square in front of the Church of Saints Silverio and Domitilla, where the audience was able to meet and socialize with all the artists participating in the Festival, including guests, actors, directors, and authors.
